DIREKLI DELUXE CAVE

This cave room takes its name from the rock pillar in its middle. ("Direk" in Turkish means pillar, or column). This pillar remains from the original carving of this chamber and it has not been changed during the restoration. It is used for illuminating purposes. You can sit on the sofa at the entrance of the room and from the window you can watch the sunset, which paints the sky with hues of red just like a picture painted by nature. As you lie on your bed, you can enjoy the sight of the 150 year old tent decorations on the wall, copper inlaid plates, and the embroidered panels.  Your eyes that have enjoyed the sight of the dancing rocks in the daytime will discover a different world in the evening.
