is no "online booking"?

Museum Hotel is not a regular
hotel as you will experience. It has
30 unique rooms in 6 different categories and all
of them are
different than the others with sizes, views,
facilities, location and decoration.
Because of that; Museum Hotel family is not supporting online bookings. It's very special Hotel serving special guests, and your
informal e-mail, questions and our suggestions leads us to the
best room selection for your %100 satisfaction.
Q- What is the location of the Museum Hotel? How far are you
from the important
tourist sites?
A-
The Museum Hotel is right in the center of Cappadocia, in
the village of Uchisar, the highest peak of Cappadocia. Our
hotel is located at a pinnacle, overlooking the whole region,
including the entire Mt. Erciyes, Red Valley, Goreme, Ortahisar and
the White valley. We are just 3km away from Nevsehir, 4km from
the Goreme Open Air Museum and 15km away from Urgup.
Q:
Which of the airports do you suggest for Museum Hotel?
A: We have 2 airports in Cappadocia region which are, Nevsehir (NAV)
and Kayseri (ASR). Transportation is easy from both airports.
Nevsehir Airport is 25 km away from our hotel and approximately
30 min by car; Kayseri Airport is in a distance of 65 km and 50
min by car.

Why have you called your hotel as “Museum”?
A:
Omer Tosun founder of
the Museum Hotel (Indigo Group LTD), is an antique collector that
has a great collection from the period of Ottoman, Seljuk,
Roman, and Hittite. From the very beginning of the project, it
is planned to make our guests live in the time of many years ago,
experience the Cappadocian culture with all aspects and make
them feel the sense of a living museum.

Is the area that Museum Hotel is located historical?
A:
Certainly! The special area where Museum Hotel is located
consists of many cave and stone houses that are thousands of
years old. It is known that in the caves that belongs to Museum
Hotel and were restorated carefully, like in historical Uchisar
Castle,Hittites, Persians and Romans who were the first
Christians had lived. In addition to this, it is known that the
people that had lived in the last period in the area that Museum
Hotel is now located were from the Tekeli Clan. That is why the
district is now called as Tekeli.

Are there any Wellness Services in your hotel?
A: During your stay in Museum Hotel, you can either choose to
have your special massage in your own room or get an
unforgettable experience in our Massage Terrace in the summer
season. You have the chance of relaxing with the wonderful scene
of Cappadocia and the magical hands of our masseuse in our
totally separate Massage Terrace.

What are the alternatives for dining in Museum Hotel?
A:
Museum Hotel owns Lil’a which is the top level restaurant of
Cappadocia. Lil’a, with the arrangements of Chef Mustafa
Büyükhan who has won many national and international awards;
serves its guest with the rich menu that has the best examples
of cappadocian tastes that has tend to be forgotten and the
modern Turkish cuisine. In addition to this, Museum Hotel serves
a rich and detailed breakfast buffet. As a result of the unique
location of Museum Hotel, you will enjoy the view of wonderful
Cappadocia during your breakfast, lunch and dinner.

How can I reach the Museum Hotel from Istanbul?
A-
We are just a one hour flight from Istanbul. You can take a
domestic flight with Turkish and Pegasus Airlines either to Kayseri or Nevsehir airports. Please do not hesitate to contact
us about airport transfers.
Q- What is the best period to visit Cappadocia and the Museum
Hotel?
A-
The busiest season in Cappadocia is between April and November
which doesn't necessarily mean this is the best period for you.
Cappadocia and the Museum Hotel are beautiful all year long.
As you

Q- At what time does hot-air balloon flight begin? Can you help
me to book one?
A- Hot-air balloon flights begin at sunrise. We can book your
balloon ride at no extra cost. Please ask for details.
Balloon flights are realized with
the sun rise in the early morning. Therefore, there are
different departures during the year.
Q- Do you have A/C in all the rooms?
A- Most of our rooms have A/C,
except several cave rooms, which are doesn't need A/C because they are
naturally cool. However, when A/C is needed, it is available.
Q- Do you have any room for the people who have claustrophobia?
A- All our cave rooms are spacious and have big windows
therefore you won't experience claustrophobia in them. We also
have a choice of stone built rooms.
Q- Do you have wireless internet connection in your hotel?
A-
Wireless service is available at all times at all of our
terraces, at the pool bar, in reception, in the restaurant, in
the business center and in all of our rooms.
Q- Do you have a "business center" ?
A- Yes we have a fully equipped business center.
