The entrance to this secluded deluxe cave room is reached
through a private garden. From the room, you can look out on
white olive tress and the Museum Hotel's own organic gardens.
Named for the view of the Catalkaya fairy chimney in the
distance, the room itself was inhabited hundreds of years
ago. Remnants of the past, such as a tandir used for cooking
and heating and evidence of carpet weaving remain. These are
enhanced by modern conveniences including a luxurious Jacuzzi and separate shower. A glass filter prevents the
outside world from looking in as you enjoy an unparalleled
view of the Cappadocian valleys. While the cave room itself
is ancient, the bath and sitting room are new additions. A
combination of old and new, Catalkaya is the prefect,
private getaway.
